Annie Prosser BD AKC BD PGDip.Couns CertEd LNCP graduating with Honours in Theology from the University of London, before undertaking a one year, full-time postgraduate course in Counselling at the University of Aston (taught by the eminent authorities on Counselling and Psychotherapy, Windy Dryden and Richard Nelson Jones), gaining her Diploma in 1979. She has worked in educational research and has lectured in higher and adult education. This included working with unemployed people, with disadvantaged and vulnerable people, and with offenders, both inside and outside prison. She has also undertaken educational social work and worked as a schools counsellor for five years.

Annie now works privately, offering counselling, supervision, workshops and groups. Her special interests are in children, family and relationship problems, body image and weight loss issues, women's issues and spiritual problems. Her main focus is on working existentially, i.e. assisting the client to find their own insights. Annie is a highly experienced and well trained counsellor. Her fees are £30 per hour for individual work, whilst supervision and group charges are variable.
