Judith Desbonne BSc, Advanced Human Givens Diploma and Post graduate diploma, Registered Psychiatric nurse, Cert Ed, CCC.Reg, M.FETT is a well qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist and a Fellow member of the Human Givens Institute. She uses a short term therapy approach that is tailored to meet the needs of the individual and focuses on current issues. Her approach includes a combination of up-to-date, proven techniques that include counselling skills, psychotherapy, relaxation and guided imagery. Judith likes to help clients to overcome depression, anxiety, stress, panic attacks, nightmares, trauma, phobias, addictions and the negative effects of bullying.

Judith also likes to help clients resolve conflicts, harmonize relationships and to increase in confidence and self esteem. As well as working with adults, she has experience of working with children and young people and has an enhanced CRB disclosure. Her practice setting is a private conservatory overlooking a spacious garden on the outskirts of Bridgewater in Somerset. She may be able to do home visits in exeptional circumstances. She has an NHS provider code for NHS referrals, holds a teaching qualification and has worked for MindFields College as a trainer.
