Dan Nightingale PCSC, RNMH, PhD, LD (doc), CHP (NC), DHP (NC), MNRHP, UKCP (CIT) F. FETT is a Senior Dementia Care Consultant in private practice, and is the tutor in dementia care for National College of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy. He has worked in both the NHS and in private health care. He is a Consultant Hypnopsychotherapist a visiting lecturer and a speaker to the care industry, a member of the National Register of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists where he is the Head of the NRHP Dementia Care Faculty. He is also a member of the Alzheimer's Society Approved Training Register. He is co author of joint works on the use of hypnosis in Dementia care, such as The Efficacy of Hypnosis in Changing the Quality of Life in Patients with Dementia (Duff and Nightingale, 2005), published in the European Journal of Clinical Hypnosis. Dan uses a holistic approach to helping clients that includes Rogerian, Gestalt, Behavioural and Adlerian elements (amongst others).
