Maureen Kiely BSc. (Hons), Dip. RWTA, PDCHyp (Dist.), MBSCH, FBAMH is a practitioner of clinical hypnosis (having a Diploma at distinction level and a Postgraduate Diploma) and she is a full member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and a Fellow of the British Association of Medical Hypnosis. She is also a Redwood qualified assertiveness and sexuality trainer of some 20 years, having been trained by the Psychologist Ann Dickson in 1985 and her Bachelor of Science degree has given her a broad understanding of the social sciences including psychology, sociology, philosophy and political science. As a therapist Maureen often works specifically in the area of performance and she has developed a successful programme to assist individuals in the recognition of their true worth. In her work in Hypnotherapy Maureen utilizes the broad spectrum of hypnosis, helping people to gain in confidence and self-esteem or attain high performance in the sports or the acting arena. She has worked with athletes, actors, sales executives and other individuals who want to increase their earning power, have successful relationships, change careers or begin a whole new chapter in their lives. Maureen also works with people's potential to break free from constraints imposed on them during powerless stages in their lives and she has worked in the area of domestic violence and abuse which gave her experience in helping victims to ameliorate their past and bring about a more positive and productive emotional future for themselves and their families.
Maureen's most recent work has also found her focusing on the area of unexplained infertility and pregnancy and birth. In this field she has spent some three and a half years working with up to 18 individuals a week helping them to overcome psychological blocks, which have prevented them from becoming pregnant and then helping them to either fall pregnant naturally or assisting them through the emotionally difficult process of IVF and when success is obtained helps clients to prepare for parenthood (she also helps clients with the challenging area of miscarriage and failed IVF). Maureen has a good understanding of child psychology as she is a qualified Nursery Nurse which also allows her to advise her fertility issues clients on their children once they get here! Maureen's fees are £130.00 per session and she works to a specific protocol which treats most issues within 3-4 sessions.
