Nikki How BSc (Hons) Psych., MNRHP, DHP (NC), FHRS, MHA (reg.hyp), SHS (Acc), FCPS, UKCP. is a Psychologist, Hypnotherapist and Counsellor. She graduated from Brunel University with a degree in Psychology and her work experience was gained working on research projects at HMS Wormwood Scrubs. Nikki worked for some years in the City of London becoming involved in the Quality Movement as a facilitator. She is therefore acutely aware of stress in the workplace.

Nikki is a member of the National College of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, a Fellow of the Hypnotherapy Research Society, a Fellow of the Counselling Society, a member of the Hypnotherapy Association, an accredited therapist supervisor for the Hypnotherapy Society, a member of the National Smoking Cessation Institute. She is also on the UK Register of Hypnotherapists and UKCP registered. Nikki undertakes regular supervision and regular Continuing Professional Development study.

Nikki's mission is to empower clients to take control of their lives, by managing stress, eliminating bad habits and overcoming phobias, not by resorting to artificial medication, but by using the unlimited power of their own subconscious minds. Nikki uses a range of skills in dealing with client problems ranging from relaxation, cognitive behaviour to EMDR. She firmly believes that each client is a product of their environment and their personality and therefore each requires an individual approach. Nikki relates to Carl Roger's client based therapy and she likes to create an emotionally safe atmosphere so her clients can gain insight to their problems and feel empowered to address their issues.

Nikki likes to help clients overcome smoking, IBS, stress, weight and eating disorders, phobias, panic attacks, nail biting and emotional problems originating in abuse experiences. She also likes to help clients develop pre-test, public speaking and driving confidence.
