Cam Field Dip.Couns, Cert.Couns, CCC.Reg M.FETT is a qualified and experienced Counsellor who has been practicing since 2001. Cam currently works in private practice, at a University as a Staff Counsellor and also at a Resettlement Centre - working with young people who are or are at risk of being homeless. She has also worked within the NHS as an Occupational Health Counsellor and in a number of other situations gaining experience in helping people overcome problems related to sexuality, depression, surviving childhood abuse, physical health, illness and disability issues, family issues, bullying, gender, racism, workplace stress and bullying/harassment, self-esteem/identity issues, anger, shame, loss, bereavement, dreams, relationships, and eating problems.

Cam first studied Person-Centred counselling, but then moved onto Gestalt therapy and she has trained at Bournville College of Further Education, Birmingham Counselling Centre and at Manchester Gestalt Centre and is now beginning to train in Somatic Psychotherapy at The Center for Somatic Studies, in New York. Having already completed over 7 years of part time training she is also working towards accreditation as a Psychotherapist with United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy.

Cam works primarily with adults, but will see young people above the age of 13, and welcomes people from all communities and backgrounds as clients, normal fees are £30 per session for an individual client, but some concessionary spaces are available for people. Before counselling commences there is an initial assessment session to ensure client and counsellor suitability.
