Birgit Hall BA(hons), DHP, MAPHP, MNCH, F FETT is a Hypnotherapist, Hypnoanalyst and NLP practitioner. She qualified as a hypnotherapist at the Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy in 2000, and she runs a thriving practice from a Complementary Health Clinic in High Wycombe. Recently she has also set up an additional practice in Reading. As a Principal of the Royal Berkshire College of Clinical Hypnosis, Birgit trains new hypnotherapists to the highest standards, and enjoys inspiring people to enter and succeed in this most interesting and rewarding profession.

Birgit sits on the Committee of the Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (www.aphp.net), with portfolio for research and development. She also attends meetings for representatives of training schools on the UK Council of Hypnotherapy Organisations (UKCHO). She takes aspecial interest in the treatment of depression and anxiety related symptoms, including issues such as self-harm, and is currently putting together a CPD training course for hypnotherapists to learn new techniques to help with these issues.
